Zion Elopement Videographer

Zion is the elopement I take on the most, and it's my favorite terrain to film in. Red rock walls, cottonwoods, and the kind of afternoon light that turns the whole canyon into a set. When couples ask me what makes Zion different, it's this: the scale of the place does half of the storytelling for you, so the film gets to stay quiet.

Zion also comes with rules. Wedding ceremonies in the park require a Special Use Permit, group sizes are limited by location (a lot of the best spots cap at 6 or 12), and the shuttle system dictates your timeline more than you'd think. I've navigated all of that enough times to help you plan a day that actually works.

Most of my Zion elopements are a two- to three-day film — a permitted ceremony inside the park, a private dinner at Under Canvas or a rental home, and a sunrise or sunset second-day shoot up on Cable Mountain or Kolob. It's less "wedding video" and more "short film of the trip you took to marry each other."
