New York Wedding Videographer
New York weddings split neatly into two worlds: Hudson Valley estate weekends and Manhattan/Brooklyn loft weddings. I film both, and each one wants a completely different tempo out of the camera.
The Hudson Valley crowd tends to plan a three-day weekend with rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, and farewell brunches. The Manhattan and Brooklyn crowd tends to plan a tight single-day loft wedding with a walk-around ceremony and a serious dance floor. My favorite films come out of both.
I don't shoot NYC like it's a music video. The best New York wedding films are the ones that stay in the room, let the toasts breathe, and let the city just be the wallpaper.
