Oregon Coast Elopement Videographer
The Oregon Coast is my favorite mood in the country to film in. Cannon Beach at low tide, Ecola State Park in the fog, Cape Kiwanda when the wind is throwing spray sideways — the film ends up looking like a movie because the light already does.
Coastal elopements here are almost always small — five to fifteen guests, a beach ceremony at Haystack or Ecola, a warm dinner somewhere in Cannon Beach or Manzanita, and a next-morning portrait session in the fog. I plan for two days on the ground so the film has room to breathe.
Weather is the whole point of the coast. I don't move ceremonies for rain, and I've had couples specifically request the storm forecast for their date. Some of the best films I've made started as "the weather isn't cooperating."

Signature
Super 8, real film.
Super 8 in coastal fog is one of the most beautiful things I've ever loaded a camera for. Coast elopements almost always include a roll.
