Tanner Castro Films

Corporate video production, UtahCase studies people actually watch.

Corporate video does not have to be stiff. I'm a Salt Lake City filmmaker, and I make case study films, service films, and company culture videos that show what your team does and why it matters, told through the people who do the work.

My recent corporate work includes a full series of engineering case study films for RESOLUT and an anniversary film for Duncan Aviation. Both are real projects, featuring real employees, with real buildings and real history behind them.

Project case study films

For RESOLUT, formerly VBFA, I produced case study films on Salt Lake City International Airport, Primary Children's Hospital at the Miller Family Campus in Lehi, and the renovation of Utah Valley University's Sorensen Student Center in Orem. Each one walks through the coordination and technical problem solving behind a complex building, in language a client or future hire can follow.

The UVU film, for example, covers how new electrical infrastructure went into a building first built in 1975, with energy-efficient lighting, smart windows, and hundreds of charging stations, all while the student center stayed open.

Service and culture films

Alongside the case studies, I made a service film on RESOLUT's mechanical engineering work, covering occupant comfort, energy performance, and long-term building operation. Films like this help a company explain what it does without a slide deck.

For Duncan Aviation, founded in 1956, I filmed their 70th anniversary celebration in Provo. It brought team members, families, and retirees together, and the trailer captures what the company means to the people who built it. Culture pieces like that are useful for recruiting, internal communication, and simply honoring your team.

Working with your team

Most people are nervous on camera, and that's fine. I've spent years helping nervous couples relax at weddings, and the same approach works in a conference room. I keep interviews conversational, so the answers sound like people, not press releases.

FAQ

Corporate Video Production questions

Can you film a series of videos at once?
Yes. RESOLUT is a good example: one collection of service, case study and brand films. Planning a series together keeps the look consistent and makes the shoot days more efficient.
Can you film on active job sites or campuses?
Yes. I'll follow your site safety rules and work around the schedule of the people on site.
Who handles the interview questions?
I'll draft questions with you ahead of time, then guide the conversation on the day so your team can just talk.
