Moab Elopement Videographer

Moab elopements are the ones that turn into a real trip. Slot canyons, arches you have to hike out to at 5am, dinner around a fire at the ranch. The couples who book me here are usually the ones who'd rather spend three days outside than one day in a ballroom.

Arches and Canyonlands both allow permitted ceremonies with small group limits, and Dead Horse Point almost always gives you the best sunrise view in the state without the park bureaucracy. I plan around whichever backdrop the couple actually cares about, then build the coverage around it.

The through-line is that Moab weddings look best when the film feels like a documentary about the trip, not a highlight reel. I stay in the background, I let the guides guide, and I let the desert speak for itself.

Moab elopement couple

Signature

Super 8, real film.

Desert light on Super 8 has a warmth digital can't touch. For a Moab elopement I'll shoot a roll at sunrise and one during the ranch dinner — those clips almost always become the couple's favorite part of the film.
