Brand video production, UtahYour brand, on film.
I'm Tanner, a filmmaker based in Salt Lake City. Most of my year is spent telling real stories at weddings, and I bring that same documentary eye to brands. A brand video should feel like walking through your front door: the people, the space, the work, and the reason customers keep coming back.
I produce brand films for Utah businesses of every size, from a solo hair and makeup artist to an engineering firm with offices across the West. The goal is always the same: a film that makes the right people want to work with you.

What a brand film can do
For Ogden Athletic Club in South Ogden, the brief was to show everything happening inside the club: tennis, swimming, HYROX and functional training, group fitness, and community programming. The finished campaign included a short campaign film, website banner films, social footage, updated photography, and a library of evergreen assets the club can keep pulling from across its website and ads.
For Beauty by Reese, a Utah hair and makeup artist, the film was made for her website and social media. It shows the detail in her work and gives prospective clients an immediate sense of both the finished look and the artist behind it.
For RESOLUT, formerly VBFA, I made a collection of service and project films that show the people and engineering behind high-performing buildings.
How I approach it
I keep crews small and shoots relaxed. Real employees and real customers usually beat actors, and I would rather catch a genuine laugh between takes than script one. You get a film with cinematic polish that still feels honest.
I plan every shoot so one production day becomes as many usable pieces as possible: the main film, short social edits, website banners, and stills. That way the investment keeps working long after launch.
Where I film
I'm based in Salt Lake City and film brand work across the Wasatch Front, from Ogden and Park City down through Lehi, Orem and Provo, and anywhere else in Utah. I'm happy to travel beyond the state for the right project.
FAQ
Brand Video Production questions
- How long should a brand video be?
- Most hero brand films land between 30 seconds and three minutes. Website banners and social cuts are usually shorter. We will pick the length based on where people will actually watch it.
- Can you film at our business while we're open?
- Yes. I work quietly with a small crew and plan the schedule around your busiest hours so the shoot doesn't get in the way of customers or staff.
- Do we need actors?
- Usually not. Your own team and customers tend to come across as more believable on camera. If a project does need talent, we'll plan for it together.
