California / Wedding Videography
California Wedding Videographer
California is the state I film in more than anywhere outside Utah. It's a short flight, the light is generous almost year-round, and the wedding landscape here is unusually diverse — SoCal design-forward city weddings, San Diego coastal light, Temecula wine country, Joshua Tree desert elopements, and the giant-forest quiet of Sequoia.
That range is the reason I built out subpages for each region below. What a Coachella Valley wedding needs from a filmmaker is not what a Balboa Park wedding needs, and pretending otherwise is how you end up with a film that feels generic.
The through-line: documentary style, no staging, and a color grade that keeps California light looking the way California light actually feels.
Venues & locations
California markets I regularly work in:
- Los Angeles — The Ebell, Millwick, Carondelet House, Calamigos Ranch
- San Diego — The Prado at Balboa Park, Scripps Seaside Forum, Estancia La Jolla
- Temecula — Callaway, Ponte, Europa Village
- Joshua Tree — Tumbleweed Sanctuary, The Ruin Venue
- Sequoia & Napa — permitted forest elopements and estate weddings

Signature
Super 8, real film.
California light on Super 8 is the reason I fell in love with the format. Golden hour at a Temecula vineyard on 8mm film is unreal.
