San Francisco, CA / Wedding Videography
San Francisco Wedding Videographer
San Francisco weddings move fast and change light three times before dinner. Fog in the morning, hard sun at noon, then that soft gold on the west side of the city around six. I plan the day around it instead of fighting it.
City weddings here are usually a series of small rooms: a hotel suite, a City Hall staircase, a restaurant with 60 people in it. That is exactly the kind of day documentary coverage is built for. I stay close, stay quiet, and let the room stay the room.
I also shoot up the coast from the city, Marin headlands, Point Reyes, and the Sonoma coastline at Sea Ranch, when couples want the wild version of a Bay Area wedding.

“It feels like watching the day from inside the day, not like watching a video of it.”

Signature
Super 8, real film.
Super 8 and San Francisco were made for each other. Grain, fog, and a streetcar in the background read like something found in a family archive.
